The Boxer puppy or dog is a very energetic breed of dog. The Boxer by nature is not an aggressive or vicious breed, but, like all dogs, requires socialization.

The Popularity Of The Boxer Breed

The boxer dog breed started out as a cross between the English bulldog and the German Bullenbeisser. There are two types of boxer, the German boxer, and the American boxer. The breed was popularized rapidly, especially after the standard had been developed. One year after the breed was developed, the very first Boxer club was founded. The German Boxer Club went on to publish the first breed standard in 1902. Through the American Kennel Club, Boxers are recognized as the largest breed in their working dog class.

A Boxer Dog Puppy Breeder

All dog breeds require a certain amount of grooming and care is necessary to keep dogs and puppies looking at their best. Puppies should be temperament tested, vetted, dewormed, and socialized to give them a healthy, confident start in life. Once the dog is settled in your home, you may want to actually obtain some pet insurance since anything can happen. When looking for a Boxer to bring into your home, also consider dog adoption. A first time dog owner always wants to know whether Boxer dogs dangerous or not, before bringing home one as a pet. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.

A Good Guard Dog Training Course

Guard dog training is used to train dogs basically to stop unwanted guests. You must use a commanding voice, not yelling, and tell the dog to heel. Once the source of the allergy has been removed, the dog will immediately stop sneezing and coughing. Antagonistic methods can result in a sulking, depressed dog who is a joy to no one. When training your dog you must remember to always be calm and speak in a voice of authority. Time spent training your dog is time the two of you will spend together.
